
Meeting Schedule
Meetings will be held at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts at
1A North Road, Chelmsford, Massachusetts unless otherwise noted.
We meet on the first Tuesday of October, November, December, February, March, April, and May.
Exact schedules vary, however typically we gather at 11:00 am for tea,
a business meeting at 11:30am, then our presentation or workshop.
Guests are always welcome!
October 7, 2025 – Beautiful Garden Containers for Fall, Susan Nock
To start the new year, the club will welcome Susan Nock with her program on creating beautiful container gardens for our homes. She will demonstrate her techniques while using a wide assortment of fall plants.
November 4, 2025 – Microgreen Magic: Grow, Taste, Thrive! Safiyat Hamiss
Join us for a Microgreen Workshop where you'll discover the powerful benefits of these tiny, nutrient-packed greens! There will be a brief presentation on how microgreens support health and wellness, and a step-by-step demo on how to grow them easily at home.
December 2, 2025 – Deck the Halls!
For our December program, we will celebrate the holidays with an in-house hands- on workshop party. Members will create a holiday decoration to brighten their homes.
February 3, 2026 –Frederick Law Olmsted, Sr: A Legacy in Landscapes, Bruce Magnuson
This program will introduce us to the life and legacy of Frederick Law Olmstead, Sr. It will inform us of his profound impact on America’s public spaces with images of some of his famous gardens that highlight his transcendent work.
March 3, 2026 – Easiest House Plants Ever, with Style! Tovah Martin
No matter what your home environment offers, Tovah will cover all the bases. She brings ideas for plants that will become botanical companions and make your life ultra-beautiful.
April 7, 2026 – Porch Planter for Spring, Joe Desmond, Weston Nursery
Our April Meeting will be held at the Weston Nursery facility on Pine Hill Road. Following the meeting, members can stay to create a porch planter that will brighten your Spring. Price will be announced at the February meeting.
May 5, 2026 – The Artistry of Flowers, Artistry Floral
We welcome Lorraine Walsh and Mary Lou Ashur as they demonstrate their signature floral arrangements that capture classic principles, and that interpret fine art with traditional and creative floral designs.
June 2, 2026 – Gardening is painless (and other lies we tell ourselves), Neal Sanders
For our end of the year luncheon, Neal Sanders returns with another presentation filled with humor and insight from someone who gardens less from an abiding love of horticulture than for the love of a spouse.
